The Swannanoa Pride Community Coalition (SPCC) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization composed of people who live, work, or own a business or property in the beautiful mountain community of Swannanoa, North Carolina. Our mission is to bring the community together to become actively involved in shaping Swannanoa's future, while honoring its unique history, heritage, and character.

SPCC's projects include:
Building community spirit and pride through festivals and picnics, history and heritage events, and beautification projects.
Hosting community meetings and distributing emails on issues like affordable housing, public safety, transportation, landslide hazards, conservation easements, flood control, and greenways.
Organizing the "Swannanoa Sweep" community cleanup (held each fall and spring), and promoting recycling and litter awareness.
Partnering with community organizations and state and local governments to develop greenways and parks in Swannanoa, and to promote revitalization of Swannanoa's business district.
Representing Swannanoa on regional committees and task forces (US 70 Corridor Study, Flood Damage Reduction Task Force, County Greenways Commission, etc.)
Publishing Swannanoa's Business Directory and Community Guide.
If you'd like to make a donation to support SPCC's work in the community, please make your check payable to SPCC and mail it to P.O. Box 697, Swannanoa, NC 28778. SPCC's application for federal 501c3 status is currently pending. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your donation. Thanks!
